UNIC at the 42nd meeting of the European Audiovisual Observatory Advisory Committee

UNIC was pleased to take part in the 42nd meeting of the European Audiovisual Observatory (EAO) Advisory Committee, which took place on 14 March 2023 in Strasbourg, France.

The meeting was chaired by Pauline Durand-Vialle, CEO of the Federation of European Film Directors (FERA) and gathered 40 participants representing the film and audiovisual industry.

A pivotal discussion was held regarding the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the film and audiovisual industry. Ad Co Members shared insights, exploring both the opportunities and challenges posed by AI and identifying potential avenues for further research and legislation.
