UNIC at the 2026 Cinema United Fall Summit

UNIC was in Los Angeles at the end of September for Cinema United’s 2026 Fall Summit, which brings together cinema operators and industry partners for several days of meetings, studio presentations, educational sessions and networking.

The Summit offered a broad educational programme, providing an opportunity for exhibitors to exchange experiences and hear from experts from within and beyond the cinema industry on the trends shaping the sector, such as AI, the success of horror films, older audiences to name a few. This year’s programme also included a conversation between Tom Rothman, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group, and Michael O’Leary, President and CEO of Cinema United.

The week was also a great opportunity to engage directly with our colleagues at Cinema United, including through association and member meetings.

Alongside the official programme, UNIC also took part in Global Cinema Federation (GCF) meetings.

Congrats again to Cinema United colleagues for a great conference!
