Passing of Lene Løken

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Lene Løken, formerly Managing Director of Film & Kino and Vice President of UNIC, passed away at the weekend at the age of 73.

Alongside her considerable achievements in the Norwegian cinema sector, Lene was a great supporter of UNIC, and was one of the co-signatories of the revised UNIC Statutes agreed when the decision was made in 2011 to relocate the organisation from Paris to Brussels and establish an executive office there, better to influence the European Commission.

We pass on our deepest condolences to her family and to colleagues at Film & Kino.
