SUPPORT EUROPEAN CINEMAS

As negotiations continue on the various instruments that can support the European economy in light of the COVID-19 crisis, UNIC has put together an updated list of support measures to help European cinemas in their recovery.

Strong, accessible and sustainable support measures will be key in ensuring that audiences can enjoy the unparalleled social and cultural experience of watching films on the Big Screen for many years to come.

For more information on the current state of play, including governmental support and what cinemas themselves are doing to keep audiences engaged during these turbulent times, please consult our ongoing research document here
