Laura joined UNIC in March 2015 as a European Affairs Executive and become CEO of the association in August 2017. Having graduated from the Strasbourg Institute of Political Sciences, she lived in Ireland before moving to Brussels in 2011. She then worked for the British Council and the Federation of European Publishers. In 2018, Laura was named on Celluloid Junkie's list of the Top 50 Women in Global Cinema and on Politico's Women who Shape Brussels list. Laura is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
Senior Industry Relations and Research Manager
Guillaume joined UNIC in September 2014, following an internship with the organisation. He graduated in Political Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), with a major in International Relations. Guillaume speaks French, English and Spanish. During and after his studies he worked in a local cinema in Brussels and was responsible for screenings (from digital projection to server management).
Diana joined the UNIC team in January 2016 as Project Manager. She holds a bachelor degree in Economic Sciences from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, and a joint Master of Arts degree in Contemporary European Studies from University of Bath, UK and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining UNIC she worked for different international NGOs in Brussels and was responsible for fundraising and organising events. Diana is fluent in Romanian, English, Russian and Spanish, and is actively studying French.
Policy and Communications Officer
Chris joined UNIC in January 2018, having been an intern for the association upon arriving in Brussels in 2015. In between, he worked for a contractor of the European Commission and for a distributors' association, focusing on both the cinema sector and policy developments at the EU level. Chris speaks English and French.
Laure joined UNIC in January 2016 as a Part-Time Office Manager. She previously lived and worked in London in HR and Recruitment for 10 years. She holds a Master degree in International Relations from Strasbourg University. Previously an exchange student in Germany and Ireland for 2 years, she is fluent in French, English and German.
Daniël joined UNIC as an intern in January 2019. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Munich, as well as a Master’s in European Studies from Maastricht University. Prior to his arrival in Brussels, Daniël worked for a pan-European media platform, as well as a social and market research institute. He is fluent in German, English, and French, and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
