UNIC is collecting detailed information on the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak on the cinema industry across the 39 territories it represents. If you need additional help, please reach out!

The research includes detailed information on national closure processes, support mechanisms, measures relating to employment, taxation, rent and related costs. as well as a selection of key box office figures shared by Comscore.

Also included below is a list of EU financial initiatives that could be relevant to cinemas. A detailed document covering each of these initiatives – and their approval process by the European Parliament and the Council - and relevance is available upon request.
